If you are one of those people who regularly forget to drink, then such a beautiful accessory will definitely entice you to consume much more fluids than usual. This time, we invite nutritionist Agrita Rūsiņa to try the Lurch vibrant thermos bottle, and also to share a nice recipe for when plain water gets a bit boring and the ingredient labels of store-bought drinks don't make you want to drink them.
Agrita: "Lemonades and sweet carbonated drinks are a current problem for adults, children, and young people alike, but this time, it's not about the excessively large sugar doses in sweetened drinks, but rather about healthy alternatives. With the onset of warm weather, it's increasingly recommended for the body to consume fluids. As a nutritionist, I recommend at least eight glasses of water daily. In spring, part of the fluid intake can be replaced with, for example, birch or maple sap, as they also contain valuable vitamins and minerals. I often receive complaints from people that they don't like plain water. However, water must be drunk, and to make it easier to drink, its taste can be varied with fresh fruits or various herbs.
The RITO bottle, now in my hands, is inseparable :) I'm out of the house all day, so this bottle is now my trusted companion. You can carry hot, cold, and even sparkling drinks in the bottle. Sparkling drinks are usually not recommended for stainless steel bottles, but you can safely use them in this one."
Recipe for a sweet and healthy spring!
In this recipe, I use maple sap, as spring is a time for body cleansing and these gifts of nature (both birch and maple sap) are very good at cleansing the body of toxins accumulated over winter. I added lemon, lime, orange, cranberries, and also chopped mango for a sweeter taste. This time I skipped carbonated mineral water, but you can also add it instead of sap to get a healthy "carbonated sweet drink."
