In 1957, the Mikasa brand was introduced to the American public. In the 1970s, Mikasa diversified its product line, complementing its already successful dishware collections by introducing crystal bases, stainless steel dishes, crystal gifts and photo frames, ceramic vases, table linens, and decorative home accessories. Mikasa is a classic American success story and plans to continue expanding its retail division across the United States in the coming years.
