Metaltex was founded in 1945 in Switzerland. A continuous path of growth and innovation has transformed Metaltex into a world-class company in its industry, with core goals always being growth, reliability, and safety. 

From humble beginnings with household products - strainers, wire racks, space savers, bathroom products, etc. - to today's wide range across many categories.

The extensive Metaltex geography, through subsidiaries or branches, covers countries such as Switzerland, Italy, Germany, France, Belgium, the USA, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Spain, Mexico, China, Turkey, Brazil, Hungary, Finland. Respecting the diverse preferences and traditions of buyers across this wide geography, Metaltex has created and maintains brands such as Florenza, Tomado, Supertherm, Polytherm, Epotherm, Chrometherm.

In 1994, Metaltex acquired the company Gezi Taunus-Glas, the largest German manufacturer of vacuum flasks and jugs, distributed under the Supertherm brand. With this, Metaltex opened a new product line – vacuum containers, thermoses, double-walled containers – where it could enhance its expertise in working with metal and its coatings.

In 2016, Metaltex introduced a new and exclusive coating with a chrome finish called CHROMETHERM®. Metaltex’s latest achievement in research and development: an innovative ecological solution that significantly reduces impact on key environmental indicators compared to traditional chrome plating methods.

Since the mid-1990s, Metaltex has relocated and gradually strengthened its production in China while maintaining Swiss high-quality standards. In Metaltex’s business philosophy, quality has always been and will remain the main goal. That is why at every stage of product development – conception, development, and manufacturing – the company’s technicians continuously monitor every operation.
