Beef steak in garlic butter with shrimp and asparagus

Ingredients:

  • Beef steak 450g
  • Tiger prawns
  • Olive oil
  • Asparagus
  • Butter
  • Garlic
  • Parsley
  • Salt

Preparation:

  • Garlic butter: In a bowl, mix butter with grated garlic and finely chopped parsley. Cover the bowl with foil and keep it in the refrigerator until the steak is ready.
  • Beef steak: Heat a pan with olive oil over high heat (at least 10 minutes). Brush both sides of the steak with olive oil and salt. Place the steak on the pan to cook. Sear on both sides using a thermometer (medium-rare +50°C - +57°C / medium +60°C - +65°C / well-done +71°C). When the steak is cooked to your liking, place it on a separate plate - spread with garlic butter and cover with foil.
  • Asparagus: In the same pan, melt a little butter with olive oil and cook the asparagus until tender.
  • Shrimp: Sprinkle defrosted shrimp with salt and cook them in a pan with garlic butter. Shrimp are ready when they are lightly pink and curled into a "C" shape.

 Serve the steak, shrimp, and asparagus on a plate and pour the melted garlic butter from the pan over them for a richer flavor.

No-bake strawberry cheesecake

Ingredients:

  • 2 packs of Selga biscuits (plain)
  • 400g strawberries
  • 300g condensed milk
  • 250g heavy cream
  • Whipped cream
  • 1 tbsp gelatin
  • 125g butter
  • 3 packs of cream cheese (plain)
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar

Preparation:

  • Soak gelatin in about 6-7 tbsp water. Set aside.
  • Crush the biscuits very finely (almost like sand), add melted butter.
  • Place the biscuit mixture in a springform pan, spread and press firmly onto the base. Place in the refrigerator for a while.
  • Blend most of the strawberries, cut the rest into slices.
  • Take the cream cheese and mix, after a minute add condensed milk and vanilla sugar. Continue mixing for another 2 minutes, add gelatin and some of the blended strawberries. 
  • In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream, then add it to the cheese mixture, mix thoroughly but do not blend.
  • Take the chilled biscuit layer from the refrigerator and spread the cheese mixture on top.
  • Smooth the top and put it back in the refrigerator for several hours.
  • Spread the mixture on the cake.

Decorate with whipped cream and sliced strawberries.

Pink gin cocktail with Prosecco sparkling wine

Ingredients:

  • 100 ml Pink gin
  • 100 ml sparkling water
  • 50 ml prosecco
  • Ice
  • Fresh strawberries
  • Fresh mint

Preparation: Fill a glass with ice, pour in gin, sparkling water and Prosecco sparkling wine. Decorate with strawberries and mint.
