3 refreshing drinks for hot summer days

As the great summer heat returns, we've prepared three refreshing drink recipes. A fresh summer smoothie for well-being, iced coffee for energy on hot days, and pink raspberry lemonade for joy when spending time with your nearest and dearest!

SUMMER SMOOTHIE

Ingredients:

  • Watermelon – 300 g
  • Redcurrants – 50 g
  • Sugar – 2 teaspoons
  • Ice – 4 cubes

Preparation:

  • Remove seeds from the watermelon and cut into cubes. Remove stems from redcurrants. Crush ice in a blender. Add watermelon, redcurrants, and sugar. Blend until smooth.
  • Pour into a glass and serve immediately after preparation.

ICED COFFEE

Ingredients:

  • Espresso – 2 cups
  • Ice – 8 cubes
  • Sugar syrup – 2 teaspoons

Preparation:

  • Place 4 ice cubes and 1 to 2 teaspoons of (liquid) sugar in a shaker. Prepare 2 cups of espresso and pour over the ice. Close the shaker and shake vigorously for 10 to 15 seconds. Pour the prepared drink into a glass through a strainer.
  • Add 4 more ice cubes. Serve immediately after preparation.

PINK RASPBERRY LEMONADE

Ingredients:

  • Raspberries – 150 g
  • Powdered sugar – 150 g
  • Lemon – 1 pc
  • Lemonade
  • Ice

Preparation:

  • Slowly heat raspberries with powdered sugar in a saucepan until liquid is released from the raspberries. Add freshly squeezed lemon juice and continue to heat for 1 minute. Let cool.
  • Once the drink has cooled, pour into a bowl, add whole raspberries, ice, and lemonade. Stir until it turns a beautiful pink color.
