Sealing or grilling meats is much more practical with the Tramontina Professional steak rack made of iron 30 cm 2.4 liters. With a body made entirely of iron with a Durprotect finish, the steak dish reaches high temperatures and leaves your meat at the ideal point. The handle, for your safety, has a silicone sleeve and does not heat up, even with the high temperature of the iron. It also guarantees a super healthy food, as it does not release residues and has a high abrasion power. Tramontina and you, the perfect combination for successful recipes! Whenever you use the piece, follow the instructions indicated below: Before the first use: Wash the utensil with a soft sponge, hot water, soap or neutral detergent and dry it with a soft cloth. Next, grease internally with cooking oil and heat for 1 to 2 minutes, then remove excess oil with absorbent paper. This process decreases the likelihood of food sticking and improves corrosion resistance. Your product is ready to use. During use: Carbon steel is an excellent conductor of heat and effectively retains the temperature, but to prevent deformations from occurring at the bottom of the product, it is recommended to use it over low or medium heat. When using on an induction or glass-ceramic cooker, always lift the pan when moving it to avoid scratches or scratches. Avoid immersing the hot utensil in cold water, wait for the product to cool before cleaning. When placing this product in the oven, remove the silicone sleeve. After each use: Wash the utensil with a soft sponge and mild soap or detergent. Make sure that the utensil is completely dry, then protect the product body internally and externally with a thin layer of cooking oil, which has the function of protecting against corrosion. Store the appliance in a dry place. Maintenance: After prolonged use, oil and grease may accumulate inside the pan. This layer helps in the performance of the product, however, to eliminate it you can use an abrasive sponge. Redo the skillet surface preparation process as needed and always store the product with a thin layer of edible oil. Attention: The maximum volumetric capacity for cooking is 3/4 of the total capacity of the piece. This product cannot be modified. After use, superficial stains may appear, which are characteristic of iron products. During use, even if the maintenance indicated in this manual is carried out, oxidation points (rust) may appear on the internal and external surface of the part, which is perfectly normal for products made of iron. Do not use in a washing machine. Never soak in water. Important: This utensil has a protective layer of sunflower oil. Upon receiving the product, it is normal for surface color variation to occur. To homogenize and restore the visual appearance of your product, just spread a thin layer of edible oil again.
