Claytan

Claytan is one of the first ceramic manufacturers in Malaysia with a wide range of cutlery. Most of the brand's products are exported to Australia, Japan, Europe, the United Kingdom and the United States. The brand's mission is to offer ceramic products in innovative shapes and designs that meet international standards, as well as to contribute to water-saving efforts for environmental sustainability.

Claytan dates back to 1920, when its founder Tan Soon Heng opened his pottery workshop in Kuala Lumpur. In 1935, Tan Soon Heng moved to Ayer Hitam City, where he opened a small factory with 20 employees to produce clay pipes. In 1957, Tan Soon Heng handed over the management of the company to his son Tan Chong Cheng, under whose leadership the Claytan Group grew into a strong company over several decades.

All Claytan brand cutlery is made in Malaysia and the products are designed to prevent color fading. Claytan cutlery serves both the hospitality industry and the household market segments.
